about the competition
This competition will feature special guest judge Amalia Viviana Basanta Hernández, daughter of legendary choreographer Amalia Hernández as well as a special performance by America’s first all-female group Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles
This event will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Pearson Park 400 N. Harbor Blvd. Anaheim, CA 92802
The first place high school winning couple will receive a cash prize of $1,500 (per couple)The first place middle school winning couple will receive a cash prize of $1,000 (per couple) and both couples will also perform as part of Mariachi Sol de México’s concert at the OC Fair on Sunday, August 8, 2021

This event has no entry fee and is a couples competition,
with two categories:
Middle School ages 10-13 yrs.
High School ages 14-18 yrs.
